A 2008 STI Trojan 9mm. Shoots dead on at 25yds and runs like an old Cobbler's sewing machine.

The first handgun I fired was a 1911A1 at Parris Island MCRD 1964 thus thru out the past and current decade I've always had an example. Currently the EDC is a S&W Shield 9X19mm thus most likely the most shoot able.

My 239 is part of my hand when I shoot it. When I first got it it was terrible but I got some Hogue grips and it transformed the gun into a real shooter.
My Mk25 is a close second

Maybe a 3" K frame. The trigger is so good that it helps a lot.

Well, all of them... I won't keep a pistol I can't shoot well, I just don't have any confidence in it. Of the pistols I own ranked from the best; SIG P-210 American, Colt .38 SA, S&W revos, Beretta 92c .

The last duty weapon that I carried as a LEO before retiring in 2008: A Nighthawk Custom GRPII (Commander sized 1911 .45 ACP). Absolutely flawless functioning and is superbly accurate.

Sig P229 SAO Legion 9mm with Armory Craft type II fully adjustable flat trigger.

With this setup I can get grip nice and high and my short trigger finger completely around trigger. Have 3.5mm pretravel to wall, crisp clean break, no creep, no over travel and reset is even shorter than stock. There is no side play with this trigger. Feels like my straight pull back government 1911 trigger.

Use the Federal Syntec 150gr TSJ ammunition for practice. Is very consistent with standard deviation of 5 FPS between rounds. Very accurate.

Surprised that no one has offered the SP2022. Mine, in 9 mm, is crazy accurate. I can just point it down range 15- 20 yards and it finds the bullseye damn near all the time. With laser sight, without, doesn’t seem to make a difference.
