Old thread but new favorite 45, new favorite overall... still have and love the LTT custom P220ST but my son bought me a P220 Carry SAS 37C000xxx with a DOB of 03/22/18 and POB of Newington NH, a discontinued model to boot. This is my soon to be retirement EDC especially since my agency unapproved my grandfathered P220 on 09/30/16. The Carry SAS rides perfectly in my 5 Shot Leather AIWB SME although I just ordered a Milt Sparks Nexus. I will be riding into retirement soon with what kept me safe for 20+ years, the Sig P220 45. And I still don't do pics.

I really used to like my P90, but I think my 220 is better.

Used to be the Glock 30s, but since I picked up a Glock 41, that one is the new fave .45

I've fired the 1911, the M&P .45 (first generation), HK USPs in standard and tactical trim, and the P220.

Out of that pack, the HK USP Tactical in .45ACP.

I yearn to try the P220 Legion .45 ACP and the fullsize HK45 Tactical, but I fear one or both would follow me home and .45ACP is not a caliber that I shoot regularly. I only stock it because I own a 1911 that was a souvenir (organization's commemorative deployment gun).

Fixed-sight 220 Match slide and barrel mated to an old ST frame and graced with SuperBlack and a light sprinkling of under-the-volcano-in-Oregon elf dust.

But the regular fixed-sight Match pistols and the STs still get regular range time.

My West German KB coded P220. My favorite non-1911 45 pistol in my stable.
My second favorite is my 245.

I don't know where you live but if you ever find yourself in Colorado I'd be happy to host you at my range and let you try my Legion. First box of ammo is on me! Smile
