I recall Brownell's getting praise for their "house" brand AR magazines.
I found these Brownell's "house" brand 1911 9 mm magazines and wondered if anybody had tried them.

I like the Tripp Cobra mags the best. Seem to be the highest quality 9mm mag when compared to others. Never had an issue with them either.

Yes, I have a Dan Wesson PM-9 that I used as my "Cheater Gun" when I shot IDPA. The Tripp Cobra 10 round mags never gave me any issues. They do stick out past the grip frame. Wilson 10 round mags would not even feed the first round in my gun.

Take a look at Joes 1911 Mag Mania for some mags. These are Checkmate seconds from what I have found. I bought a boat load for range mags for my .45 Full size & my officers model 1911's. They sale 9mm as well.

I have shot the snot out of them and have never had a feed issue that I can contribute to one of the mags. I don't carry the 1911's for defense, just range toys. But, I would not hesitate to with one of these mags if I needed to. I have these and Chip McCormick mags, all work great.

Good to hear about the Tripp Cobra mags working well. They seem to be very good quality.
