Took my P239 to the range today....The weapon shot WONDERFUL!!!! (as usual). I put 200 rounds thru it, most from between 7 and 15 yards...Shot 2 to 3 inch groups, Not one Hiccup..

Heres what I did notice... out of all 200 rounds, on about 5 or 6 rounds, the recoil of my P239 felt different... It felt sluggishly "springy", like the slide was in slow motion feeding the next round into the chanber. It never missed a beat, and accuracy was amazing (as usual).. but I just noticed this wierd , what I would call "non solid" recoil feeling..

Could it be the ammo (shooting Wally World CCI Blazer Brass 180 gr. FMJ)....

Or could it be the recoil spring... (Im at about 1200 to 1500 rounds).. I took the recoil spring out and measured it... It is at exactly 3 5/8 inches..

Has anyone else experienced this recoil "feeling"..???

(side note... put 100 rounds thru my "Skeeter, and it didnt miss a beat).

My 239 feels that way towards the end of a range session,as it gets dirty. Especially using dirty ammo.
