Hello Everyone,

I need some recommendations on a good range bag or pistol case to hold my Beretta 92FS, Browning Hi Power and a few extra mags. Thanks!

I have an I-SHOT Pro Shooter's bag. It carries two guns, muffs, safety glasses, and ammo with ease. It also carries 8 magazines in the outer compartment.

After too many years of hauling huge cases to the range I found this .

I just use a back pack. They don't scream gun like a range bag does

On the advice here, got the iShot bag and just love it! Plenty of room for two folks to go shooting with 2-3 guns (total, not each!), few hundred rounds ammo, earplugs, 15 mags, glasses, etc.

Also got one of the medium sized Midway bags, and it works great for longer trips with a pistol, two rifles, shotgun, tons of ammo and a lot of time. I WISH I had the time and money to fill it and empty it on a solo pistol outing.....

I've got the $40 Midway bag and like it alot for the money. Normally, I use just the small inner bag for my Mosquito, ammo, targets, and protective gear. However, it's nice to know the big bag is there and I won't have to buy another one if/when I need more capacity.

I like Pelican cases. Sold most of my pistols now, so I have room for more mags and ammo.

I picked up a Bagmaster Mini Deluxe , because that's what my local stocks, and I've been very pleased with it.

This bag looks hard to beat. I haven't justified purchasing it to myself yet, because I have a decent range bag that works for me, but if I didn't, I'd probably buy this one: http://www.shootersconnection.com/shootingbag.htm

i-Shot seems to be the best. I plan on buying a Mini Deluxe from them for quick trips to the range and IDPA matches where I don't need to carry a lot, and either the Pro or Evo for longer trips with more guns. I currently have a Dillon which is nice too, but I'm just ready for something new.

I will second tiptoe's recommendation for the Bagmaster bag.

I have 3 of their Mini Range Bags, not the Deluxes.

I have to travel so far for major matches and pay so much for entry fees, gas, hotel, and food, that I always pack a back up gun.

I have a pic around here somewhere:

A'yup, it has a total of 8 slots for magazines. It also has a zippered outside pouch that could hold a box or two of ammo or a .22LR conversion kit.

I have one range bag, and it's a Bagmaster. It still looks new after years of use. I have recommended them for years, and will continue to do so in this thread Smile Take a look at what they offer, as they really make some high quality bags.

I can't agree with this statement more. Discretion might save you the aggravation of your guns being stolen out of your car or home. I use a freebe, cheapo nylon gym bag to carry to and from the range. Inside, I keep my two range guns in these. I love these cases and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Awesome bags

The I-SHOT Pro Shooter bag is just awesome!

Will one less box of ammo, this month, kill you?
No, but the money could save a child's life...

i also have and really like my I-Shot bag.

my advice when buying a bag is buy bigger than you think you'll need. same applies to a gun safe. both are quickly outgrown and underestimated at purchase.

I have been tempted to carry my gun stuff in a very old vinyl / pleather bowling bag. Ya know the ones I am talking about, two tone, with the inverted U shaped handles that just screams 1975, bell bottoms, and pork chop sideburns.

Also, in the similar vein, some of the Craftsman tool bags from Sears are very nice.

They don't scream "gun" either.

I keep my $hit locked up in the trunk... out of sight = out of mind, from neverdowells and zealous cops who pull me over.
