New Dan Wesson PM 9
I recently sold some duplicate firearms and rolled the cash into a new Dan Wesson PM 9.
What an awesome 1911 pistol!
When I opened the box and inspected it, I was amazed at the fit & finish.

I've started the break-in process now with 300 rounds fired.
It's so tight on the slide to frame fit and barrel lock-up I expected many malfunctions.
Not a single failure!

Here are some photos.

That is excellent - congrats!

DW CCO owner here, now pondering a Valor.

It's a very nice 1911. Every time I see a DW now it makes me want a couple.

In the 9mm cartridge, how does it shoot for accuracy?

One pistol I never should have sold. Absolutely amazing pistol.
Accuracy was great and I eventually was shooting with this pistol at 20 yards and getting better groups than any pistol I've owned.
Congratulations on a great pistol.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

It's better than most shooters can hold.

I did a recent motorcycle trip with one of our mutual friends through the High Peaks of the Adirondacks and into Vermont.

I had a couple in the past, in my opinion Dan Wesson is the best production 1911. I didn't experience any malfunctions with mine that I can think of as long as I use quality mags. Congrats!

A gorgeous handgun, one to never sell but pass on as an heirloom.

Sounds like a nice trip. Tell him I said hello and will call when I can.

Congratulations on a fine pistol! I got one about 18 months ago, and it has been great with no reliability or accuracy issues. The workmanship is outstanding. I also have two other 9mm 1911 pistols from other manufacturers and both have had their share of problems. The PM 9 was done right by DW.

Have had one for a number of years now and really love it. Mine has also been an absolute gem.

There's just something about stainless Dan Wesson's that gets my blood flowing. Can't wait to own one.
