Its a like new West German P7M10 with the nickel finish. A rare gun indeed.

I cleaned it up and this example is pristine. I can't wait to shoot it. Its only my second 40S&W, the other is a Beretta PX4.

They aren't as svelte as the single stack 9mm P7 and weigh as much as a full size 1911, which is why they didn't sell well. However, now they continue to go up in value.

It feels very solid and well built. Actually, its overbuilt. I love all steel German pistols.

Here are some quick pics I took.

The P7 is the only HK I'd ever buy.

Nice pistol!

I fired a P7M10 when they first came out, at a local range. First time I ever fired a .40. I thought it felt great but was very snappy. It was being rented continually--there was a line of people waiting to fire it.

I think I bought a Glock 21 instead. However, if the version you have would have been available, it may have had a new home.

Very nice score...

Bac,

Nice trio. I bet they look a little out of place with your thirty-nine 1911s and six Pythons!

Nice. I remember back around '98 or so a local dealer had a pristine M10 just like yours. Gorgeous factory nickel finish, 2 mags, just no box. I didn't want another .40 so I let it pass. Also, mags were virtually unobtainable. The price? $800. That, believe it or not, was average around that time. I'll always regret no getting it.

Be warned though, these guns are highly addictive. My dad got started on these (P7s in general) and ended up with 6 of them. You should seek out one of the anniversary guns that came with a wood case and special wood grips (they're Nill grips but have HK logos and a rich deep figure to the wood).

Thanks!

I picked it up for $1500, which was a steal. They typically sell for $2000-$2500+ in this condition. NIB models sell for $3K+.

Prices will continue to rise.

Thanks Cobra. My HK collection was seriously lacking before now.

Wow! That is on my list of fantasy guns. If I ever win the lottery, it will be one of the first I try and find.

Very nice, congratulations!

Nice!! The M10 is a great collectible. I have a P7M8, and it is one of my favorite handguns.

ShootingSigs2 has a P7M8 jubilee in the classifieds, i think it's still available.
