This little guy rolled in yesterday, The upper belongs to a customer that wanted some night sights put on, and I wanted to see what they looked like. Pretty cool!

Anyone have information on the little grip filler piece which closes the gap at bottom rear of grip frame? Can they be had in OD color? I am not too Glock astute.

David Lee, I have never seen a grip cavity plug in any color but black. I have them in all my Glocks. Pearce calls the thing a Glock Grip Frame Insert.

Thank you CB, I justsaw mention of one at Glockmeister? Believe it was called a plug in that post. I am hoping they were or are made in the OD color. It's not a absolute must have piece as the guns are basically for fun range time. The 45 will be used at my CCW corse and be my new house gun.

FYI, the grip frame inserts for the Glocks that have lanyard holes have a small tip that protrudes into the lanyard hole to lock the plug in place. My G26 does not have that lanyard hole, the grip frame insert is smooth and will eventually work out of the gun when it is being fired. I put a drop of rubber cement on the plug and inserted it into the frame and let it dry. Problem solved.

I just picked up my new 3rd Gen g-17 RTF about an hour ago. I am really excited about this one! I will try to get out to the range Friday and run her thru the paces. I'll post how things went when I'm done. Big Grin

I picked up my rebuilt Gen.II Glock 17 this morning. The factory replaced 29 parts, including the frame. This was all free, but I had steel sights installed instead of the synthetic sights and paid $20.00 for those. I stuck a $6.00 Pearce grip frame insert into the cavity in the frame and raced out of the parking lot before those good folks at Glock, Inc. came to their senses.

My Glock 17, 32, & 26.

^^No one can fault customer service like that. They replaced 29 parts, including the frame, at no charge. I mean, come on, folks. It just doesn't get better than that.

nah...I bought an M&P instead.

Glocks have crappy ergonomics, and an annoying mag release (i'm a lefty, who uses his index finger).

Actually, it did. Glock was going to ship this gun to me at home via FedEx for no charge, which would of saved me a trip to Smyrna. I expected to have another Glock 26 by now and was going to have it gone through by the techs while I was at Glock.

I am starting to like these ugly things.

Not gonna read thru all 112 pages of the thread Smile so I'm just going to say:

Yes, I will get a Glock, subcompact variety, if I could actually find a G26 for sale in my area. Mad I'm almost tempted to just get a G33.

Yup...I have secretly or not so secretly bought 9 so far. I know I will get flamed, but IMHO the Glock design is the 1911 of our day.
