It is so easy to find pictures of guns on the interweb even ones for sale on Gunbroker. Yet I still love looking at pictures of guns in the SF classifieds, even guns I don't intend to buy.

When I open a thread and it has no pictures, I'm always disappointed.

I know in my case when photobucket tagged on a $400 price tag for hosting photos, that ended my adding pics to any thread.

I'm sure a lot of others feel that way too If they are cheap like I am.

Pictures are definitely helpful in a Classified ad, and recommended.

It is true, that the area should at least be a constant source of gun porn, even if nothing else.

Window shopping is good. "Tire kicking," try not to do that unless you actually honestly want to buy the item.

Arc.

That shouldn’t be an excuse, lots of other free photo hosting sites you can use.

Yep. It's like a gun shop that I can walk in fondle every gun with no intention of buying it, walk out, and not get dirty looks from the shop purveyor.

I don't do it a lot, but I now use postimg.org. Just go there:

http://postimages.org/

Click "Choose images", and it automatically uploads an image you pick, and immediately gives you the links to post. You don't have to open an account, sign in, or anything. I've done this several times and it's super easy. I guess you could open an account and sign in if you want to manage your images or use it as a place to save them. I'm not doing that, but just using it to get a quick link to post.

Like this random pic from my computer:

By the way, that's a knife I bought at the local drug store when I was about 8 years old. Can you imagine? I even brought to school with me.

I always peruse the Classifieds though I'm not in a position to buy much these days. The Classifieds are run well here.

Visit some car forum classifieds and you'll see guys trying to sell cars with a 50 word description, no pictures, "thinking of selling" while asking $55,000. LOL.
