Those aren’t “nicks and scratches” that is the much sought after “battle worn” patina. You did good.
Also, from whence are you posting the pics? Phone tablet, etc? I use “image size” on my iPhone and iPad to resize pics.

Thank you. I feel lucky to have scored it. I fondled a tac-ops desert tan/camo one at gun shop and felt great. Once I got used to bore axis I was grinning.

you can get a rehab kit with new grips and springs for less than $50 and a threaded 9mm barrel for less than $150. For less than $200 you have a refurbished 9mm suppressor host in 9mm.

I picked up 3 surplus 226 frames a couple of years ago. I assembled a 22lr
a 40sw, and a 357sig p226. You made a good choice. Pick up a rehab kit and enjoy.
