Hi everyone,

I have two P226 Legions. A 9mm SAO and a .40S&W DA SA. I was considering swapping them around and was wondering what the best way to go about it would be. I did notice that the 9mm SAO slide has some more material removed from the inside of the slide near the rear.

Would I be better off swapping complete slides between the frames, or just swapping the barrels and springs?

Is there any reason that this would not be a good idea?

Thanks guys...

Swap slide assemblies.

A .40 barrel won't work with a 9mm slide due to breech face width. A .40 cartridge will be too wide for a 9mm breech face.
