Beretta, Glock, HK, M&P, maybe a Walther.
Liar! That's alphabetical order. Seriously though, For me it's SIG, Beretta then GLOCK. HK's are nice, but I don't like their triggers.
GO CHARGERS!!!

+1 + (increment previous votes) for H&K I love my P2000SK, lust for a P2000, P30, or HK45, and hear that H&K have dramatically improved their customer service of late (I've never needed it, but my local shop said they used to be horrible to deal with but within the last year or so are rivaling Glock in that respect). Expensive - yes, they are proud of their little creations....worth it, IMO absolutely...other less expensive that run as well...probably - my G17 has never had any issue, it's just not my personal fav...

Friend, do yourself a favor and go fondle some XD's. I stewed over Glocks (excellent), Beretta 92F (outstanding), HK P2000sk (damn near orgasmic), but once i picked up the humble XD9 sub-compact ... it was all over. Handles like a dream, and hands down the most accurate pistol I own. I basically just waive my hand downrange, and tight little groups appear on the target.

I have an XD9 service. They are reliable, good shooters. To me, a much better grip than the glocks.
