I bought mine used, and the prior owner had both grips with the gun. |

Sig is balking at doing anything else except shipping all guns with "medium grip" and kits will have "medium grip" standard.
FYI, while temporarily sold out, Sig has had both small and large grip for 250 C that works for both 9 and 40. |

Has anyone held a sample of the .45? is it wider/beefier than than the current 250? Thanks, and Hey Jerry, yeah your right around the corner.

I finally got the full specifications from SIG brochure that is loaded on Ordnance Outdsellers web site.
It's the first time I got the data about the exact weight of the calibers other than 9mm. I'm happy to find out that, although still light, the 40S&W version is a few ounces heavier than the 9mm version. Some may be perplexed by this, but I regularly shoot a Glock 22 which is about an ounce lighter than the P250 40S&W compact, and altough the lightness may be appreciated if it was on my waist while it is carried, it does not absorb recoil so well as a P229 or P226 do. The weight of P250 40S&W Compact is right between P229 and Glock 22, and that's exactly where I wanted it. |

Test Pilot, glad you were able to use our site to help. Even the Sig catalog will need some tweaking, but still fairly useful!
Given the likely change coming in political climate, Sig will be under a lot of pressure to get out all versions of 250 that use a 10+ rd mag, not to mention the pressure Mec-Gar will be under for build hi caps for ALL their manufacturers, as well as OEM for Sig! |

KC, specs are shown in Sig catalog posted on our website below. Since only 250C 9 and 40 have shipped, so far, no one has actually seen anything else!
Let me know if I can help? |

KC, you're quite welcome! "Handle" doesn't have anything to do with Kansas City, does it? Where I'm originally from.

Today my local gun shop looked up on its distributor's site the cost of a 40 conversion kit for my 9 mil P-250 and told me they had none in stock, but that the list price was about $700. Frankly, I would never have bought my P-250 if I had known I would have to wait more than a year to get a conversion kit, only to learn after a year of waiting that it would cost more than a new gun. I don't think any gun manufacturer can survive while treating its customers like that. I wrote a respectful letter to SIG about a month ago and received no reply. Unless I see a major change for the better from it, SIG won't be seeing any more of my money, no matter how good a gun it manufactures.

This thread is full of price information. I suggest you never purchase SIG products from that shop. Get in touch with Ordnance Outsellers, Top Gun Supply, JC Weaponry, or one of the other SIG Forum participating vendors. You'll get better information and better prices. |

+1 to that, although it is possible that the shop got bad information. Chris |

Schwartz. will be available for less than Remo's numbers; but can't quote here, due to MAP.
Scrappy, thanks for plug. At 4700, think dealer may have quoted MSRP on the gun, not the kits? |

I'm having trouble keeping up with what is going on with the P250.
Is it possible to get the sub-compact frame yet? When will they be available? And how high is the sub-compact frame (compared to the compact)? Thanks... |

This gun is so cool, think about the possibilities: (of course you'll need your handy Dremel-proceed with caution!) Cut about 1/2" off the front of a small frame and put a subcompact slide assembly atop, or Cut the grip down a bit to accomodate the subcomp magazine. This thing will be fun. Heck you don't like rails-smooth those off too.

I hate to sound cynical, but SIG could easily cut the price in half, or even further, since they don't have any to sell anyway and aren't telling us when they will. I looked on each of the three recommended sites, Ordnance Outsellers, Top Gun Supply and JC Weaponry, but I didn't find a conversion kit available on any of them. When a company sells me a product by telling me that it is convertible to a different product with components that I can purchase for it and when those components still are not available even after a year has passed, then I become suspicious of the company's basic honesty. It may be that SIG's marketing people got ahead of its development people, but if that happened then it's time to fess up and to stop selling P-250's by telling prospective buyers that the gun is convertible to another caliber with components that are supposedly available for purchase. And it's time for SIG to tell those of us who relied on its advertisements when the conversion kits will be available. Otherwise, if it continues to stonewall us, I think SigArms is inviting some very serious legal problems. And that's a real shame because Sig builds such a good gun. I own a 220, two 226's, a 239 and a 250, and they're all great guns, even the 250 that I can't convert from 9 to another caliber. |

Be carefull questioning their honesty you might get the thread locked. This happened in a recent thread about the red dot (the evidence was pretty clear it wasnt an aimpoint) and they said it was speculation (because aimpoint might have done a special run with a shorter battery life and not realized it).
I keep hearing that there is some inside info on the 45 fullsize but I havnt found it anywhere on the net yet. It must be very very secret but I would love to know what it is if anyone has it. How about some more pics from the shot show from last year of the sig booth and the 250s that were there. |
