Very cool.

I got a P80 kit on Black Friday and also a Suarez 17 slide kit w/barrel and trigger. I just need the internals and some sights, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to it.

Thanks for your insights.

I want one now too. I'm checking all the aftermarket Glock parts makers. If you know of any good ones, or a company that sells parts let the rest of us know.

I have built....a few of these. They sure are fun!
Slide: usually from Brownells.
Ameriglo Nightsights: OpticsPlanet
UPK: Glock OEM from MidwayUSA
Lower frame: MidwayUSA, ROckeyBrass, or Brownells
LPK: Glock OEM from MidwayUSA, RockeyBrass, or just eBay. People have recommended AGAINST Lonewolf.
Barrel: usually from Combat Armory, can be had for under $50.
RitDye from Michaels with coupon for customized coloring Smile

At some point I'll do one of these P80 for kicks. Same reason I did my %80 1911. I could have bought x2 budget / mid level 1911s for what I put into this one. But it was a super fun project.

I just did a P80 Glock 22. Turned out awesome!! I bought a trade in gen3 and a fde P80 kit. I had no problems. I did update most of the parts in the slide and frame. I put 150 rounds through it without any hickups!! I'm real happy with it.

Brownells is running a sale on the kit with a slide for $289.
I am wondering if it makes sense, at that price.

I'm unfamiliar with these things. What else do you need? Barrel, trigger assembly??? How much cost is there above the $289?

As far as I can tell, you need a barrel, an upper parts kit, and a lower parts kit.

That's $200-$300 depending on the cost of your barrel.

You probably need sights too.
