Threaded barrel for w german 228 Login/Join

Is there anyone that uses their w german 228 as suppressor host? What do i have to look for in getting a threaded barrel that work?

They are different, yes. The one above is for the P228 and the old Legacy P229 (9).

should i install a heavier recoil spring to help the slide return speed?

Also, would a newer p229 SAS requires a 229-1 or the old 228/229 threaded barrel? Thanks!

I use a West German P228 as a suppressor host. It works great with a factory threaded barrel.

bumping this thread; a few years ago I'm pretty sure I bought a Sig threaded barrel specifically for the P228. However all I find on the Sig site now is a link that says '228/229 threaded barrel' but when I click through it displays 229 only. I suspect as this thread declares, that it won't work.
Any other sources for older P228?
