I’ve been thinking about picking up an HK P30 or VP9 but the one thing that’s holding me back is the fact that 15-round magazines for the gun don’t seem to be in stock anywhere. Anyone know why this is?

Backordered at HK. I have a couple dozen on order since earlier this year that are still unfilled by HK-USA. But at least our order is in the queue. Nowadays HK isn't taking any further orders at all.

HK ships everything in batches......get what you want or may want when it’s available. Took me quite some time to chase down some flat USPc magazine floor plates. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

Thanks for the leads and info, guys. My main motivation is because I just don’t really enjoy shooting my Glocks (19 Gen 4 and a 43) and want to replace them with guns I find more “fun.” The downside is that with the price of magazines, it’ll cost me about $800 to make the swap to a P30/P30sk or VP9/VP9sk combo.

Are you going to be looking into this VP9?

I’ve read about the VP9 with the push button magazine release, but I’m okay with the paddle style that HK has used on its handguns in the past.

Pardon my ignorance, but who/what is GAG? I'd like to order some mags for my new VP9sk.

Go ahead punk, make my day |
P30/VP9 mags are supposed to be the same regardles of paddle or button release, from what I’ve read.

Never mind. We just got our order in, both full size and SK mags. Only took five months. Now the wait is on for the SP5K mags I just ordered...
