I just acquired a police trade-in USPc 45 in DAO and wish to convert it to LEM.

Do I need to purchase the whole $120 LEM kit, or do I only need select parts to do this?

What is the date code? (two letters, i.e., KH, AC, BD) You'll need to know to make sure you have the right hammer and catch combination.

It's AC date code, so I ordered the LEM kit, the needed catch, and a light trigger return spring.

The light trigger return spring was too light for a CCW pistol for me, also LEM. Do not discard the original spring until you test it both ways, very simple to swap.
