Hey, this is what I do, except I've transitioned to the 229 in 40 for the IDPA matches as well. my POI changed dramatically. May I suggest to shoot what you carry, just for one match if nothing else and see if it impacts your shooting as well?

Huh? Big Grin

I'm going to organize and reply to a second round of your messages in the next day or so. We've had a great response and I'm very pleased.
Thanks!

Possible only because of this Forum. This is an inarguable truth: Sigforum is where it's at.
Thank you.

Are folks getting a response back from GGI regarding sending their email info? I have sent my email 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back.

Just curious if they are that far behind responding or if spam filters are blocking me.

Craig

Simply an FYI, I haven't heard anything back either. I don't have any filters set up for my email inbox.

Bruce responded to me either last week or two weeks ago.

I was the first one to respond and I haven't gotten anything either. No worries though, I'm sure it'll be posted whenever something happens.

I primarily shoot a custom Springfield 1911 in Single Stack IPSC, but I'm working up a P226 in 9mm to shoot in Production Class.

In the past 15 years I have used my 228/9MM & 229/40 for PPC competition. I have in the last year installed a Burris Fastfire on my 228 and use it for Steel Plate competition and Bullseye Matches. I now want to start using my 220/45 instead of my 229/40 for Stock Class in Steel Plate Competition. I also use a S&W 686 for PPC Matches shooting scores of 586 to 592 on a 600 course.
If anyone else out there would want to install a Red Dot on their Sig, Use the Docters Dovetail Mount(56003)over the Burris Mount do to being a beefier mount. I had problems with the Burris Dovetail Mounts coming loose and falling off during competition. I went through three Burris mounts and than switched to the Docters Mount, Burris was kind enough to replace the bad mounts, no questions asked.
You can find these products at OpticsPlanet.com
In PPC Competition I'm rated as Expert, in Bullseye I'm rated as Marksman.
In both ratings I'm border line of moving into the next higher class.
