Wow , I opened my Sig credit card and was told that I could use it for service work on my pistols. Today I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Ken ( great guy BTW ) and at the very end i was told that I could not use the Sigarms credit card to pay. Sucks for me I guess.
My main bitch is that I was told I could use this card to do service work and found out otherwise.
If I knew that this card was only good to purchase new pistols and accessories I NEVER would have opened it in the first place.

I completely feel misled and I'm kinda pissed.

Anyway, I still love all things Sig but, this puts a damper on my Christmas.

I agree Ken is a good guy. He helped me with a couple of issue on my P250. I do not understand why they care where their payment comes from. Most of these specialty credit cards are issued by a bank not the retailer. I got nuthin'

Send it back with a letter explaining why you're cancelling?

I don't see what else there is you can do. Life's too short to stay pissed over things you can't do anything to change.

Just a guess here, but maybe it's a recent change due to a reflection of the economy...maybe as of late they are getting a lot of no-pays on the Sig cards and they're narrowing down the types of purchases allowed? Not sure...

That sums up my thoughts. Some advice, don't use credit card unless it's a REAL emergency, to protect your bank account from a purchase, or to rent a car. If you can't afford to, pay in cash, pay it off with in a month, or it's not a REAL emergency you shouldn't buy it... Your rejection may be a blessing in disguise!

I agree, credit cards are the devil!! I was just looking to get a "bridge loan" until I get my tax refund. Anyway, I'm much less pissed now that I got to sleep on it. Thanks for your responses.
