That is a great looking pair of guns. If mine looks that good, I will be well satisfied.

Thanks for the pictures.

It is back from CCR!!! The *KARMA* 12131’s Refinish Your complete Handgun by CCR is complete. After a short 5 weeks, I get to see what CCR could do to a worn but loved P228. Here are the results.

As it went out to CCR:

As it came back all silver and black - which I really liked:

I put walnut grips on, but with the black controls, they did not grab me:

So the black Crimson Trace Laser Grips went back on as it is a carry gun:

I had a few extra things done like matching 3 magazines to the gun finish and blackened controls. I asked Mary @ CCR to bill me separately for those costs. But oh no…. 12131 picked up those costs also.

He is a genuinely gracious and generous individual. Knowing him makes me want to improve my own behavior and outlook toward others.

Slide and barrel in CPII and the alloy frame in Nikote to match as close as possible.

Wow that looks incredible. Love the walnut grips but they do have a strange contrast with the black controls, though.

I've never had anything refinished but I might have to one day.

12131 is indeed a very generous man. I liked to wood grips personally, either way you got a beauty there. Hope you enjoy it for many years to come!

SIGforum rocks.
