Can the manual safety be removed on the fcu of the P365? I realize a new grip module would be needed, or I’d have a hole where the safety was. Is there any difference in the FCU’s concerning a manual safety/non safety version? (Besides the safety mechanism itself?). Thanks all

It absolutely can in the 320, so I'd imagine it can in the 365 as well.

Doing a quick google I see multiple kits to add the safety, so it stands to reason you just need to basically do the same thing to remove it. Probably a single part like in the 320

There is only 1 FCU for the P365, you should be able to add and remove the manual safety with no changes to the FCU.

To my knowledge this is not the same with the P320. They have at least 2 FCUs. The one without the manual safety is missing a cut milled into the frame and has different parts in the FCUs. They may have changed this but that is how it was when I bought my P320. You can remove the manual safety in the P320 but you need to change parts in the FCU to function correctly.

From Grayguns, shows the installation of their manual safety kit, adaptable to any P365.

The removal is equally as simple.

dry-fly, just curious as to why you want to remove safety? I am trying to get a manual safety for my 365XL and having trouble getting parts.
Are you having any problems with the manual safety?
thanks

No need for a new grip module if you do not mind the manual safety cut being open in the grip module. There may be a member out there willing to swap with you.

Grayguns does have a complete kit that includes the safety and a laser-sculpted grip module in stock.

Grip modules are cheap, and it is very easy to install or remove the manual safety.
