Last month I picked up a Tanfoglio Stock III in 9mm and was very impressed. You might remember the thread. This past week I finally found a Limited Elite in 9mm and snatched it up. This one is also a full dustcover gun that is drilled for a scope mount. The Stock III is traditional blues carbon steel while the Limited is hard chrome over carbon steel. Unlike the Stock III this one is SAO. Both have checkered front and back straps when extended controls. The Limited has a bolt magwell. They share the same mags but the Limited needs special base pads. The best part is that factory mags can be found online for as little as $15 each. The Limited comes in a suitcase style box with an extra FO sight and 2 extra recoil springs for varying bullet weights. Fit and Finnish is phenomenal for a sub $1100 gun. I will update this thread with a range report at a later date. For now some ebony and ivory porn for your viewing pleasure.

I think the entire Elite family is amazingly low priced for such a excellent performing firearms.

Mine is chambered for 10MM Auto but I have been contemplating a second one in 38 Super

i'm pretty sure that those two guns he posted don't use the same mags. The Limited looks like a large frame gun and the stock 3 is a small frame.

Nice gun. I love my Tanfoglio Hunter. For me it's my most accurate pistol. I love the SA trigger and wish all their guns came with this flatter face trigger instead of the curved one.

They do actually. Both are large frame. They are actually almost identical in size.

Oh really? I always thought the EAA/Tanfolios used their own mag. Hmmm, now that's got me thinking about an EAA.

I really like my EAA/Tanfoglio Witness Pavona. I originally bought it for my daughter, but she didn't like the size. So I added it to my collection. Great shooter, easy to clean, well built, and (to my eye) nice looking.

No I meant that both my guns are large frame guns that use the same mag. No idea about CZ mags.

Beautiful. Especially the Limited. Ultra cool. So many terrific handguns out there that I've never had the opportunity to even fondle let alone shoot. Thanks for sharing.

Range Report

I only had an hour to shoot. I put a quick 150
Rounds of Federal 115gr FMJ's. Zero malfunctions. Very accurate. The only issue I encountered was that the adjustable rear sight adjustment screws were basically frozen in place. I couldn't get them to budge. I only had one of the small LPA adjustment tools so I will get with a real screw driver.

My first 50 rounds at 10 yards unsupported trying to figure out POI.

Will get a more in depth range session review once I get the sights figured out.
