Of the two, I'd take Streamlight TLR-1 over CT for lights.

They've been doing it longer and have a lot more history, while CT is pretty new to the 'light' business.

And the TLR-1, along with the X300, are the standard which all others are compared to.

Also probably more holster choices available for the TLR-1 vs the CT.

I have no experience with the Cts, but we had TLR-1s on our duty Glocks & they took a beating. I have one on my bedside table gun.
