Hey Steve, hands down I prefer the 226. But thats coming from a guy that prefers the DA/SA guns. Something particular you are looking for in comparison?

Love seeing the 226 DA/SA out there. I'm the only one w/o a striker fired gun when I shoot.
Misread, thought you said you had malfunction (gun) on stage two. Yet to have a single malfunction with mine, and it has thousands of rounds through it.
Had one of my best performances last week with my Legion at club match. 2ND beat time and a no shoot and a couple if D's away from winning. Good combo of me having a great day and no elite competition.

I was 3rd overall in Production. I think I could've been a little more competitive if I would have pushed the speed a little harder. It's very cool to run these DA/SA hammer guns against the striker dominated world.
Nice shooting! How do you like the Legion compared to your Berettas?

Thanks, its very hard to compare them at this point. I simply don't have enough time on the gun to give it an honest shake. So far, its been really positive. My one gripe at this point is the fact that you can submit your serial # to Sig for a case and coin. I would prefer a USPSA or IDPA legal holster instead.
Awesome shooting! What a great range. Looks like an awesome match.

Yeah the case and the coin seem kinda silly.
The reason I'm curious with your impression is I have a M9A3 on order and the P226 Legion keeps coming up on my radar.

Glad I'm not alone LOL! I started in IDPA with a P226 Combat, transitioned to a P320, and went back to the 226 - I just shoot the P226 better. I'm not the ultra competitive type though, just like shooting what I like shooting .

Just wondering. My P226 that Gray Guns worked on feels like the parts are running in ball bearings, it is that smooth. The DA pull is easy to put rounds on target. I have not been shooting the 226 because the P320 is so easy to clean!
Wondering if I should go back to the 226. I sold my 226 X5, maybe that was not a great idea. My next pistol will probably be a 226 Legion, and leave my 226 nitron for HD.
But, but, but da double action shot takes too much training, it's too hard to shoot, there is a difference between 5 pounds and 12 pounds if you are untrained, but despite being untrained it has to be bad.......

As a long time RO, I can tell you started in IDPA... LOL
Nice shooting- your times will improve exponentially when you start to remember in USPSA you don't need to go to slidelock.
Especially going onto the steel to end the stages...reload during the transition and go into them (especially the star) with a full mag +1.
Probably could have saved 3+ seconds overall.
I get creamed playing by the IDPA rules- what's slidelock? I've got 36 rounds on my belt AFTER I'm done and have left live rounds behind? Why am I getting penalized for dumping rounds I quite obviously didn't need? LOL
Keep up the great work and please keep posting match videos! I miss shooting in matches terribly but kids come first (until they are old enough to play too).

Yeah, you look a little more comfortable shooting a DA/SA gun but don't you want to give one of those new P320 X5's a try. Word on the street is they are the bee's knees.
I know the camera's make distances look way longer than they are but the stage layouts look huge with fairly large distances between shooting spots.
I shot a match on Saturday and decided to just leave the camera at home and concentrate on the match and ended up shooting 94% of the available points. I don't know if it was the lack of camera or not but I may leave it home again and see what happens.
Keep the videos coming.

Great shooting! I couldn't remember the courses of fire to save my life.
