I currently have most of the classic P series Sigs and all are awesome but there's one that kinda stands out from all the rest and for me it's the P-228. This is one Sig I'll NEVER part with. It shoots like a Cadillac !!
While I do love the 228 and have two in my harem and have owned six, the West German 226 with the old school grips is my favorite. I currently have a 1988 and a 1994. At the moment, there will be more. And a 226R in 9mm sleeps in my nightstand. And I have great love for my two tone 229 in 9mm. The 320 Tacops is in last place of my seven Sig pistols. But I do like it a bit.
P226RX SAO in 9mm. Most accurate pistol I have ever shot, and the one with the best trigger as well.
I think I can narrow it down to a P220...
My other Sig is a Steyr...
These days it is my P229 Legion.

Cripes, you would ask...
P-220 (W. German)
P-245 (W. German)
P-6 (W. German)
They're all my favorite.

Don't like: P230/P232/P224/1911/Polymer SIGs (Maybe the P365 will change my mind, we'll see).
OP, P228 is your favorite, but you only have one? That's just unacceptable, man.
Oh, btw, this is my favorite SIG.
Q, That is hard to fathom!

226 West German for me.

For me it's the 220. This is my humble collection.
12131 and striperkid - those pics are awesome!
Easy one for me it's my avatar Sig WG P-228. I bet my life on it everyday. It just works and hits the spot every time. Chris
I'm a polymer kinda guy.... But the P226SAO is a close second.

Those are all still with you. Dam and i had shit fits about going over 5.
The one SIG I'll always treasure is the first firearm I bought, a '94 P229 in .40.
But, it's just recently been replaced as EDC by the P320 Carry. Just slightly taller, weighs less, holds 17+1 in 9mm, and I get the first shot off quicker.

Probably my 1995 W.G. P-220.

Top: ?, 225, 226/DAO/DAK, 229, 220, 220C
Bottom: 239/40/357, 226, 225, 228, 227/Carry, 245
I believe the above is correct, but what is the first one?
For me it's the 226ST/9MM, then the 229/9MM (seems to be a little softer on the recoil then its 228 sister).
