Not that old, but older than I.

Remington Rand 1944 with 1944-marked holster my father gave me long before I acquired the pistol.

I've got a 'US Government Property' stamped Colt 1911 whose serial number dates it to 1918.

I had a 1938 Ballester Rigaud, but sold it a while back. While not a true 1911, it's close.

The oldest one I currently have is an origional Colt series 70 Mark IV government 9mm.

Oldest here is a 1987 Colt Government MKIV 45ACP.
Pictured with a 400 Cor-Bon conversion.

sigfreund, nice! Always wanted a vintage 1944-45 Remington Rand model made in Syracuse NY but never found one in decent shape with a reasonable price. Frown

I went with my mom to Ray's in Dallas around 1977 to pick this up for my dad for Xmas. IIRC, it was $145. It's mine now.

Colt Frame dated to 1918 with an Ithaca Slide. It is an old warhorse and marked U.S Property. It also still shoots good even with original sights.

Love the 1911s being posted-about here. This one’s a comparative youngster: a Springfield Armory GSP2000 Gunsite Service Pistol from Y2K. The nearly-dead night sights are Novak’s marked “00.”
