I recently received my "recycled" P220ST from Grayguns Inc. I "stole" the pistol from a local range for $400.00, as it wasn't a very popular rental gun and (since this model dropped off the "Approved" list here in CA) the range could only sell it to a LEO. After testing it out for basic function, I shipped it to Grayguns Inc for their Reduced Reset Competition Duty Package, a gold dot front sight, wide notch rear, re-crowned barrel, stainless recoil spring guide and two tone ceramic finish. The grips were stippled by Joe Elledge (joeelledge@gmail.com). I probably could have bought a new P220S, but being as "green" as possible I think I did the right thing by recycling! Thanks Bruce and Scott!

Pulicords that is a "Green" good deed that I can support. Think of it more as adopting an unwanted dog, and turning him/her into a perfect companion.

That looks good. Was it just the original stainless finish when you purchased it?

Yes. It was a standard (all stainless) finish, when purchased.

That pistol looks great. I have a couple that could use a face lift, I just have to wait until my rich uncle gets out of the poor house to float a loan from him.

Put a hundred rounds through it last week (Blazer Brass FMJ) and about 50 rounds (Federal 230 grn HST JHP) tonight. It shoots as good as it looks and will place the Federal ammo inside 1" diamonds at 20' yards as long as I do my part!

Very nice P220ST and that price is fantastic!

I am pretty sure that the standard 220ST is still on the CA approved list though. The 220ST-Sport fell off last year Frown
