Checkered 225 are rolling in, balance of the order do in from anodizing soon. Here are the checkered Gloss black you have on order.

Update on progress;

Here are the first samples of the P225/P6 Extreme grips. It will be about a week, or so for the checkering to be completed then All current orders will be ran and off to anodizing, so its not going to be long now. Once checkering is completed, I will post images. Oops, almost forgot, these grips are about .025" thinner per side compaired to stock Big Grin

Once available I will post checkered models.

Design has begun to develop a 225 grip here @ Hogue!

Our first offering will be in the Extreme Series just like our other Sig Model grips. Our projected release date looks to be 60-90 days. We have had allot of inquiries for this model so to get the fire lit and bring this project to the for front of the production line I would like to offer a pre-buy discount for retail price SIgforum members only.

We are here to offer a 10% discount for orders placed BEFORE 9-1-2008. (225 Extreme only)

At this time, the design has begun so I do not have any particular regarding the grips as far as thickness, we will try to make them as thin as possible. The checkering pattern will be like our other Sig models as far a pattern. Yes the back straps will be checkered also. Cost and colors will also be the same as our other models.

I can here is now, will wood grips be offered also, Yes they will. I will notify you as to there release.

As we get closer, I will keep you posted. Once I have a proto-type in hand I will post it right here for all to see.

At this time, with no outstanding order we are looking at about the 60-90 day window, but if we are to receive orders I can see this happening sooner, so if you would like to take advantage of the 10% Sigforum discount get your order in by the dead line. Rest assured, you will not be charged until order is ready to ship

Ken: Will Hogue make rubber grips for DAK model Sigs? I'd like to get some rubber replacement grips for my P226 DAK, but every grip made has the cut-out for the decocker.

Rubber grips for the DAK models doesn't look promising, at this time BUT if we do Sigforum members will be the first to know.

Ken, thanks for the update. I see that you will start with the extreme models....are their any plans in the farther future for the rubber finger grove grips? I just love them on my P228? I know that you'll certainly have your hands full with the introduction of these new grips, I can wait, I currently have the Pachmayrs and like them but favor the Hogue grips.

OT-but I can't get a hold of Ken via email.

Ken- does your email filter out emails from Gmail.com? I've emailed you a couple of times in the past and emailed you yesterday, but have never heard back. I'm just wondering if my emails are making it through. I asked aobut recheckering P220c grips.
Thanks-
Justin

At this time, there is nothing in the works in rubber. I can say thou, if the number support building the tooling for rubber grips we will do it. We need to know we will recoop of 30K or so tooling cost.

kayl; to the best of my knowledge I still get gmail but I have not received anything from you.......... If 220c is for the compact, No, we are not doing these at this time. We have talked about it, but the answer can back No.

Can't wait to see the pictures of the prototype. Thanks for actually listening to the community Ken, I'm sure it will pay off big time with all the P6's flooding the market.

Ken: I know I'm asking for alot here, but please consider making your thin aluminum grips for the P220 SAO. I love the P220 SAO and it would make my Elite perfect!

Ken,
I am sorry for this off topid suggestion. Please consider making the aluminum grips for CZ82/CZ83. I had checked out your website and saw that your company does make aluminum grips for CZ75. Do you plan to make grips for CZ82/83 in the future? The wood grips that I currently have on my CZ82 is for presentation only. It is too thick and crack so easy. I need the grips that will last. Aluminum is the best option.

Thanks,
Cal

How many folks are aware of the COST of the Extreme Series Grips? If you are not - "sticker shock" awaits you! Thank goodness they are one heck of a product - good stuff! I have a 228 / 229 dressed up in them and they look great; but again, "they ain't cheap guys'!

Great products usually are not "cheap". Big Grin MUCH better than the gawd-awful plastic the P6 now sports! This could well be a "win - win" situation. Eek

Bingo! They can be inexpensive, but NEVER cheap. If I can't get Crimson Trace to tool up for some P225 laser grips, I'll be buying these.
