It depends on how tightly fit the holster is. There are some subtle differences in the muzzle and dustcover shapes.

I first had a 220 compact and purchased a holster for it. Later I found a P245 at my local dealer and got it. It did fit the holster I used for my compact 220. I ended up trading off the 220, but I sure enjoyed it.
Both guns the 220 and the 245 were fantastic to shoot and were very accurate with no failures at all.
