Sig pistols multiple like rabbits. I purchased a Sig 2022 and a few weeks later, I picked up a Sig P226 and just last week, I picked up a Sig P220 and now I want a P229.

Join the club as I bought my first Sig a month ago today and now I have 5. It happens real fast if you let it because they just seem to call out to you (buy me, buy me).

Contentment isn't getting what you want but being satisfied with what you have.

Better to buy SIGs than to drink your money away in a bar.

.... or spend it on pretty horses and fast women. Oh, wait, was that pretty women and fast horses? Hell I'm too old to remember. Either way, I think spending on Sigs gets me in less trouble.

If you shoot one, it will happen. I used to think to myself, "what is the damn deal with Sigs; I didn't even like their look."

Then I shot my first, an older 226 I still have, and was hooked right away. I have a bud in Charlotte that came to my range for a day of shooting and he shot that same 226 and my 220.

Yep, you guessed it; ordered his 226 from Top Gun two weeks ago; just told me, "geeze, thanks!" I forget sometimes just how nice they are to shoot.

Whats really stupid to me is besides the fantastic shootability that SIG PXXX possess...I also bought the SIG armorer DVD...and now I look at any SIG and think...I could make it work...makes them that much more addictive. Wink

Any self proclaiming Sig addict MUST have an older 226 AND 220. Hey I don't make the rules; it is what it is!

It just happens... my addiction has been locked away for several years... got married, had the kids, kind of forgot about it for awhile... then it slowly crept back when I got my CCW permit... I bought a Springfield XD-9 SC and started to think that I could get by without the SIGs... I even sold my P228, although in fairness it was to finance a SIG 556... But then I pulled out my trusty P220... and like meeting an old dog you haven't seen in years, it was just glad to be back with me again... and so in the past month I've figured out I love SIG pistols - older ones , that is... no rails for me... I don't need a light on a pistol anyway... and I've got 2 x P6s on the way in addition to another P220 West German... time to refinish one of each in some stainless steel coating and get the pistol I always wanted... a S/S P220 WITHOUT RAILS!!!!

German Made SIGS - Addicted..!

>>> Deal Pending! - P220 / 45 APC Full Factory Nickel from late 80's or 90's W. German / German manufacture... NIB, LNIB or decent used condition... thanks for all the offers and assistance!<<<

After getting your first Sig, wanting many more is just normal. Right?

As far as I have experienced, after getting your first SIG, more will follow. Bought my first late June, pick up my second tomorrow, and then the third will be 30 days after August 12th Big Grin And then I hope to be content for a while, and just shoot the hell out the three I have.

SIG P226R (.40 S&W)
SIG P6 (9mm)
SIG P239R (.40 S&W)

I bought a 229 in 357 when I turned 21. Then a 220 I found a great deal on a few years ago. Next was a 225 that my wife liked. Still have all 3 of those. Also bought a 229 DAK in 40, which I traded for a rifle, and then a 220DAK which I also sold.

I was eying up a 226 in 9mm,but now I'm thinking conversion barrel for my 229...just like the feel of it better.

SIGs ARE like rabbits.

Unfortunately...for me...so are Mausers, 1911s, Glocks and Enfields!

Oh well...everyone should collect something..right?
