I assume that you mean 45 Compact 2.0. I'm sure that it's the next one coming up.

I've shot both. I shot the 2.0 Compact today an was surprised at how good it is. Grips are nice and sticky in the hands and the one I fired had a very good tigger. The 2.0 is much easier to be accurate with than the 320 at least for me.

I’ve gotta think the entire line will get a 2.0 eventually.

I’m a convert to the 2.0 from Glock. I was trying HK and the 320 too, but found re 2.0 to be perfect for me. I want to buy a .45 and even a subcompact (the 1.0 Compact) but I won’t because I’m waiting for the 2.0 versions of those guns.

Iow, I think the 1.0’s will suffer as folks assume a new generation is coming and want to wait for it. Just my guess though.

I think the line is going to end up pivoting around the 2.0C, in .5" increments. I think the 4.25" full size will be replaced with a 4.5. They already have a 5". I think they'll end up with a 3.5" subcompact double stack. All these will be in 9mm and .40. They seem to have lost interest in 357SIG. Some, but likely not all of these will get .45 ACP versions.

I don't own the M&P 2.0, but I do own a number of Glocks and P320's. The P320 and the G19 are the same size, and any difference is so minor as to be negligible.

The G19 and P320 are both excellent choices, though in my opinion the internals on the P320 are far too complicated and intricate.

I might get a M&P 2.0 to try, though my last s&w interaction, with them refusing to warranty my shield with the split frame, left me less than enamored with the company. The only reason I'd consider even trying the 2.0 was J Jones glowing recommendation of the pistol. Otherwise, I don't see stepping away from the Glock for carry.

Then again, I just put a P239 on layaway, and having carried it for a few years, it's a very comfortable pistol, same size as a G19, albeit a tad thinner. Not quite the capacity, but spare magazines make it enough.

Don't know about the 2.0, but S&W ain't what it used to be.

I own three gens of the G19, 3, 4 and 5. The Gen 5 is my favorite out of the box but my new 2.0 compact might be my favorite overall out of the box. My CZ P10Cs are excellent too but the 2.0is a fantastic gun as well. My only complaint is how far back the trigger breaks.

The P320C is easy as hell to shoot - I mean striker fired without a tab safety, it should be easy to shoot.

It is also the biggest.

The 2.0 MP looks good, S&W finally got serious and figured out size was everything in this fight.

Time will tell if it lives up to the hype.

Here is a link to a review of the M&P 2.0 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhPk1kjKLPM&t=1s

I hope my quest for the best all around 9mm compact pistols has ended. I really like my two Gen 5 G19's but I also like my two M&P 2.0 compacts. Both great pistols, but I do shoot the 2.0 compacts a little better. Maybe its the triggers, I don't know. Also, the Apex trigger breaks approx .080" of an inch farther forward than the factory trigger and along with the included grip inserts , you can pretty much get the perfect trigger reach and grip feel for you. Just one man's experience of course.
