I'm looking at a 226DAK that is claimed to be only 6 months old by the seller. However, didn't sig go to all R models about 2 years ago? Also, don't the 22 conversion kits fit railed and non railed 226, but only railed 229s? Thanks

Look at the SIG website. All SAS models are without rails.

There was a P226 SAS in the 2007 catalog (gone for 2008), but SIG may have had some frames left over-not unusual.

I bought this one new over the summer. The box says Dec 28 2007.
