pjsaleen266P320x5 rear sight
Hey guys
While adjusting my new x5 rear sight I aduster the rear sight a bit too high. While shooting it the sight adjusting screw flew off/springs too.
Anyone know what size it is?
Wanted to replace it this weekend .... no luck at the local hardware store finding a replacement

LincolnSixEchoNot sure but I've read this has happened to a few people. Front sight is too high in my opinion from what I've read making people have to max out the rear to get on target. Not always, but often. I still want one though and am planning on buying a 320 x-5 soon! Good luck finding your parts!

pjsaleen266Sig customer service was VERY LITTLE help . They said the buy them assembled and would have to request that the pull an x5 off the line and remove the screw and send it to me.
They had no idea what size the screw was.

GaryBFWho do they buy the sight from? Can you post some photos of the rear sight so we can see what it is?

pjsaleen266They were not sure . I called springer pecesion... they didn’t know what size the screw was either but I bought a parts kit for Glock and Xdm adjustable sights. It might have the right screw.

JonFrostI think the front site on the x5 is too tall. We had to crank our rear sight up so high it looks like a kite being flown off the back of the gun. This is the crap about SIG that really pisses me off. The gun is amazing, but come on, you guys couldn't have figured this out? IT's like no one did any testing at all before they started sticking sights on guns.
