Basically, I want to get rid of the barrel overhang, making my 92 FS look like a Centurion or the Wilson 92G. Is this possible?

Yes, no problem.

Or, you can send your 4.9" barrel and slide to Josh at AAGW and he can cut it flush and do a reverse crown or EII/Wilson 92G style crown. Here's mine w/ a flush cut/reverse crown.

I believe every Vertec ever sold came with a 4.7" barrel.
