ANIB P226 Elite SAO. Looking for grip options to replace the factory set. Plenty of options for DA/SA - limited options for SAO. Any input would be appreciated.

Also - anyone know if the X5/X6 grips would fit a standard P226?

Thanks for the reply - not sure if the X5/X6 grips will fit the standard P226.

No rail wear will be painless.

We have a Member here that is a Hogue Inc. Factory Rep.
He posts here in the Forum when needed and also announces new products.
He's also quite helpful when people have fitment concerns.
Why don't you send him a email and ask him if the standard 226 SAO takes the same part numbers as the X5/X6?

Yeah, the link to the SAO P226 is the same as for the X5/X6 SAO guns.

Thanks PGT! Just ordered a set of those. One of my original X5 grips has a deep scratch, so glad to find an extra set.

Great price.....

I like the Hogue G10 checkered grips for my P220-10mm SAO Elite. Same thing offered for the P226 SAO Elite, per 12131's link. Hogue also offers the same grip in aluminum.

When in doubt, mumble

Unfortunately, they discontinued the P226 SAO aluminum grips several years ago.

My bad, for assuming they would offer the same selection for the P226-SAO as they do for the P220-SAO. I actually prefer the G10 over the aluminum on my P220-10mm-SAO.
