Cleaned them up and had them all out, so it seemed like a good photo opportunity.

Clockwise from top left:
    Security-Six (my latest acquisition)
    GP100
    SP101 (357Mag)
    Bisley convertible (45Colt/45Auto)
    Redhawk (45Colt)

I really like Rugers. Nice set.

I picked up several Ruger revolvers this summer, including a snub Security Six that will be a winter project, and a new Redhawk .41.

Not the most refined, but very dependable. I own a SP101 that has a sentimental attachment. Probably one of the last I'd ever give up. I love the Ruger single actions, especially the three-screws.

Thanks.

I'd like to adopt a Speed-Six and Police Service-Six in the future when the stars align.
Would like to find them in 3" variety. That would round out the DA set to my satisfaction.

My Ruger wheelgun family is small. A SecuritySix like yours, an SP101 and a Police Service Six with a 2 3/4 inch barrel. The Service Six has a trigger that is on par with my S&Ws. That's one you want. Only slightly bigger than the SP101, an extra round and hell for tough. I'll have to post a pic.

I'd admired and shot a coworker's SP. His was the 4" model. I wanted the 2" DAO model.
When I got it, the trigger was horrendous. A 13# trigger pull... Wasn't fun.
I sent it off for some work. Came back with a 7# pull that's super smooth. The crimson trace grips help it out as well.

Now, I won't part with it.

Since putting the compact grip on there replacing the bulky monogrip, I really like it.
Trigger on it was butter smooth from day 1.

It was a Davidson's special from about a year and a half ago.

Smile saw you got to shoot with Bisley too.

Hey Rolan, where's a good place for Bisley grips? Haven't had much luck finding any that I like.
The grips on yours are sweet!

Altamont maybe?

C-dubs, the grips are Altamont. I have since replaced them with Eagle Gunfighter grips. Checkered, Polymer which I prefer.

Thanks Rolan. My Altamont order arrives tomorrow Big Grin
Price seemed nice and they look good, so I said why not? Ordered them at 5am Monday, and got shipping notice 4 hours later once they opened for business. Impressed!

P.S. - black polymer, for SASS? did they have polymer back then? Smile
