I really don't see the point...

I mean really, after the 10mm was invented, it pretty much made any further pistol caliber development unnecessary.

I'll just stick to my box stock G20.

It doesn't really have to have a point - "just for the flying fun of it" is plenty point enough. Gotta admit, though, it would definitely give me the warm fuzzies for self defense, at it should deliver more energy with less strain on the pistol than a comparable .45. I think you could argue that the greater frontal area should either give you better performance in a self-defense situation, or at least lower the degree to which you'd have to rely on a high-tech bullet performing exactly as it should. It would also be interesting to see what you could do to the local hog population with one - and there are enough feral hogs causing enough problems down here that popping one as a target of opportunity (given appropriate circumstances) is seen as being civic minded in many circles.

OK, so the real reason I want one is because it looks like it would be a fun caliber to play with. But that's beside the point. Smile

If listing your guns at the bottom of your post for some reason makes you feel more bad ass then be my guest.

(See how it works? Kinda of a silly statement isn't it?)

Sorry that my statement and my gun list hurt your feelings. I'll try to be more sensitive next time just in case you might read it.

If the .50 cal chamber is supported like the .40 S&W, there would just be a bigger KABOOM. And what a terrible case of Glockleg.
