Hmmm - I really like the looks of the new Pug. And, the SN's have/will have a 'CHP' prefix. Very seriously doubt it, but maybe the Calipornia Highway Patrol specified that finish for a order ...

The TALO website indicates that it's slated for release October 2019, and is "still in the works."

Apparently not available yet.

Buds has them for 397.

I guess you can add me to the PUG owner list.

Well, I asked my LGS to order me one. I'm not interested in TALO, I just want a plain, ol' PUG-T. Details when it arrives.

My wife just looked at me after asking if I ordered another gun...and turned around and walked away. She is a keeper Smile

Built like a little jewel, an absolute hoot at the range plus it sounds like a 44 magnum going off (indoors).
On the occasions that I do carry it, I use Speer Gold Dot short barrel ammo.

Someone suggested I contact NAA after I get the PUG and ask them to give it a "melt job." As I understand it, it's akin to applying the SIG SAS treatment. It's so small, do I care for anti-snag?

Do you mean picking up a .22 lr ‘conversion cylinder’ for a NAA revolver that you already have in .22 magnum?

If so, I did some research (NAA Forum) on this prior to buying a ‘Standard’ NAA mini revolver in .22 magnum with a conversion cylinder, and although NAA prefers that the owner send in their revolver to them to be properly fitted and ‘timed’ for a conversion cylinder, the general consensus on the forum is that the risks of a mis-fitment are fairly low because of the tight machining tolerances that NAA maintains and is known for.

I knew that this was going to be one of those threads that I probably should have just ignored, as that “Dude” now has me thinking about picking up another NAA!

I mentioned that I wanted either a Ranger or a Sidewinder and, lo and behold, my buddy had one (Sidewinder), NIB, he had no use for.

Now I have it Wink , gonna try to shoot it this week.

Another expensive thread. A short barrel .22 Magnum looks like a great range toy (love the muzzle flash) and carry backup if size is critical.

Any Ranger II owners with thoughts about that option v. The Pug?
