I looked at that info when they were first announced last week

I am not even bothering to put my name in the lottery to buy one

Those kind of prices for 1911s that have been rebuilt 1-2-5 or more times is crazy

I do not know what the CMP is thinking

Service grade is $1050 and might have pitting and outside wear? I guess these aren't marketed to me then. I don't care enough about their origin.

I’ve bought several rifles from CMP and felt good about price for value for both M-1 and 1903’s. The price for these 1911’s are just too high for me. I was shocked when I saw them break the 1K mark.

I think it's the not accepting my C&R and having to reregister that bothers me. I'd hassle for a cheaper gun but I'm not particularly thrilled with the process+price.
