My in-laws are asking for Christmas gift ideas. A few years ago, my father-in-law's brother (ex-cop in deep East Texas) sent me his old S&W 686 service revolver. It has well-worn Pachmayr checkered grips, which I'd like to replace with nice wood grips. I found grips4guns.com through Google and like the silver/black style best.

Anyone here have experience dealing with them? Good to go, or run away? Thanks.

Oooo...just looked at the Hogue's page. I may have to see my doctor if this priapism does not subside beyond four hours. Now to decide between Pau Ferro, Lamo Camo or Rosewood...
