What is the status of the new extractor, I know its been asked many times, but my 220ST is unreliable. I need to either get it fixed, been to Sig Sauer 3 times, works for awhile then acts up again. So the Department i work for has told me to either get it fixed again or get a BETTER pistol. Which means their Glock 22 or 21, I would rather stick with a Sig but am very frustrated! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Until it goes online, get a G17, or G21SF...I would. At least you know it will work. You could always get a 226R.

Also Sig has refused to replace my slide, they claim after replacing or adjusting extractor it works fine for about 100 rounds then it starts again. I guess if Grayguns doesn't get their new extractor going by this month Im either going to the Glock or to S&W MP45, please don't flame me, but I'm very disappointed in Sig Sauer! I had a Sig P226 9mm I traded for the 220ST and it never once failed!

If it were me, I'd just go with your department's Glock 22 or 21. Like Whtwolf said, at least the Glocks will run and you can depend on them.

I stay currently qualified with the Glock 22 40 caliber, but really want the Sig to work! at this time its not reliable to be a duty weapon, its really frustrating, I guess I was hoping for a "magic" fix, but I don't believe its going to happen, if the Grayguns extractor doesn't fix it I'll cut my losses and trade it or sell it. I traded a really great Sig P226 9mm for the P220ST, I made a big mistake, but wanted an all stainless classic Sig without the beaver tail before they were all gone!

I work at a small Department, 20 Officers, they don't seem to care! I guess big Government contracts are more important! Hopefully Grayguns will get theirs out next week and I'll havea reliable pistol, but I won't be buying any new Sigs anytime soon!

Yep. sig has been on my "do not deal with" list for about 5 years now. I'd rather give my money to companies that care for their customers.

I've given up on getting a fix for my P220ST from sig or anyone else and I'm just going to fix it myself.

Tell me about it. I had nothing but problems with my ST P220. I stopped carrying it and went with the P220 Combat, which has been flawless. I am waiting on the status with Gray Guns new extractor myself. Soon as it comes out I am sending them my gun.

I just wish I could find out when it will be available. The last was it would be ready in November, but nobody has posted anything recently but me trying to find out. If its not going to be available soon I got to get another pistol ASAP!

Are we talking internal extractors here?
Shit...I'm dying to shoot my (new to me) 220ST and hope I don't experience issues.
My external 226ST is the bomb.

Just one more instance of Sig Sauer Customer Service going down the Crapper. How disappointing to see a once great company going down the tubes.

I think they don't care about the average guy or girl, just big contracts, I to am waiting on the new extractor from Grayguns, my internal extractor on my 220ST is also unreliable, SIG Sauer just doesn't care.

I know you guys have been hearing this for the past year, but we're still working on it.

The only machine shop we found that was interested in making the part pushed up back in August to December and now they're telling us March or April.

We've decided to find another shop and keep ourselves on the list with the first shop just in case.

I can't tell you how frustrating this is for all of us. We have the design and it works, we just need a shop willing to make it.

March or April, that stinks, I guess my Sig is finished, will be getting rid of it! I have a guy who wants it for a project, hes aware of its problems, this really sucks! Not GrayGuns fault, its Sig Sauers!

That sucks, my 220ST is history! I have guy who wants it for a project and is aware of its problems. I'll be losing money but no more Sigs. I can't wait till March or April, not GrayGuns fault, its Sigs for a poor design on the 220ST.
