It seems like a really smoking deal and the pistol is nice and tight. Looks like wear from carry but not shot much...police trade in maybe?

I am tempted...

I'd buy that pistol in a heartbeat. Don't hesitate.

thanks for the confirmation, im gonna go out on a limb and say that the laser rod is still installed in it because if they were to remove the laser what good would it be without the switch?

My favorite! I just picked up a safe queen yesterday. Made in Germany about 10 years ago. Unfired by previous owner! Took it to the range and ran about 125 rounds various ammo thru it blowing the centers out of the targets from 7 to 25 yards. I would have shot more but it was about 103degrees. The barrel is soaking now. Can't wait for it to cool off a little so I can shoot it some more.

The anticipation is killing me, did you get this pistol in your hands yet? Also did it in fact have the Lasermax guiderod still installed. If it has the lasermax in it, you got an unbelievable deal, considering youi could get around $200 for a used lasermax.

GIVE ME AN UPDATE, and pics!!

that is a sweet deal with the laser! maybe if it is not the battery the company can fix it. I just picked up and reifnished an old W German P220 for those interested http://www.summitgunbroker.com/Sig_P220.html

Man! Very nice! I am confident that it is just the batteries. If any oil got into there, it kills the batteries pretty quick. Helluva great deal!

You and I both did well this month. I wasn't going to buy a gun either, but on Sunday I bought a never-fired 1992 220, $535 out the door. Shoots like a dream.

Enjoy yours! Here's mine:

I have stamped slide p220 that I'm thinking about selling. It says made in germany on the slide. How can I determine the guns age?

Brif, the Made in Germany Sigs are not as old as those Made in West Germany. The two digit date code is under the muzzle. These codes only apply to the guns with German proof marks. Newer US assembled Sigs don't have the date code on them.
Mine reads KC, meaning that it was made in '92.

If yours has no date code, call Sig Sauer and give them the serial number. They can tell you the date.

He has 3 left.

Yes...that was my source.

Actually that guy has some amazing pistol prices. I got a factory used Glock 22 from him a while back and it was nearly new and shoots like a dream.

425 for a nice early P220...hard to pass up.

Yeah, I had a hard time not taking them all of him at that price. He may have more in the future... he must just be swimming in guns!

No, it should be in next week.

If it looks remotely like the photo on their website...I am leaving it alone. My guns are working guns not pristine safe queens.

I tend to view honest wear on pistols much like I do a broken in pair of bluejeans. I like the wear and it make the piece comfortable.

I hope it looks that good but everything I have gotten from Summit has been great.

PS: Those Italian Beretta Cougars he is selling also look like a steal for the price...hmmmm...

Yeah, if he still had one of those 226's in Nickel I would have gotten one for sure. It is my first purchase from Mike but I doubt it will be my last...
