Decided to forgo the CMP 1911 sell off. Basically, I've settled on Sig for a 1911 but since I can't find a place with multiple Sig 1911 (if they even have 1), I was wondering if you guys would weigh in. Basically whats the best bang for the buck? Or are they all pretty much the same with a different paint job?

Super Match
Traditional Match Elite
or Max Michels version (I care less for the magwell over function)

What features are you looking for in a 1911? Sights? trigger type? finish? rail? etc. etc.

~$1000 or sub $1000 used, reliability, accuracy. <- thats what I'm looking for. But really I'm asking about differences in those 3, if there are any. Or talk me into another one, I'm open to suggestions.

Target/match style sights, no rail, "nice" trigger (look doesn't matter much and they all seem to claim 5lbs)

While I love a stainless slide on a black gun its not a requirement. No tans browns reds blues etc.... As I might do a match here or there 5" barrel is where I'm leaning. Keep in mind I'll never carry this either.
