Saw a Turkish Hi Power clone listed online. Made by Tisas, branded Regent BR9. Looks like a good way to see if I would like a hi power as its about the same price as a block instead of the $1k a Browning gets.
Curious if anyone on the forum has an experience with them.

No direct experience but they got some good reviews over at 1911forum. They make a stainless steel version which is pretty cool

I was leaning toward the black myself. I figure it's worth a look at least. Wouldn't be the only gun languishing in my safe if I don't like it.
