I always opt for the heavy camp, but I would go with the 180gr Gold Dots ("Bonded Defense") they have for the reason that they are Gold Dots and not Hornady ______________________________________________________________________ "I like my defensive calibers to start with a 4 and preferably end with a 5" |

Deadman,
Also look at the Winchester PDX Supreme in 180gr... I have both the 180gr. Gold dots and the PDX and recovered both both after shooting. The Gold dots are very impressive, but the PDX have what looks like a brass penetrator at the core. The recoil for a 200 gr. at 1100 fps sounds like it might be a stiff round. |

P.S. 180 gr. gold dots and the 180 gr. PDX are around 1025 fps and are snappier than the target ammo I shoot...
