I just picked up a box of these for my P226 in 9mm. The gun shop had recommended these for home defense. They seem kind of light 105 Gr that will help with less recoil and faster trigger pull. In all of you guys's opinions are these any good for HD or to light of a bullett. I do live in NJ so no Hollow points.
-On a side note NJ is selling handguns like crazy the lady at the store said the state police had said over 225 people bought handguns yesterday the normal rate is 100. today they were at 170 by 2:30.

It is legal for you have hollow points in your home and take them to the range.

To answer your question about the EFMJ, I prefer the 124+P version.

Considering the amount of paperwork needed BEFORE one can purchase in NJ - I smell BS - "gubmint" workers take too long to process that stuff. I find 100 a day in a NJ shop unlikely - let alone over double that!

On the other hand---considering the indigenous urban populations in NJ and the impending election unrest to follow - they ain't arming up fast enough...................

Actually you can apply for more than one "handgun permit to purchase" at a time so some folks can by more than one handgun per permit(s).

I think the NJSP was referring to how many calls they get to approve handgun purchases, not in one shop, unless maybe its Camden Smile

Does anyone know how EFMJ compares to say Speer GoldDot 124+P? Are the 124 +P EFMJ made by Federal?
