I use Winchester Ranger (standard 230's). I've used (and would use) Speer Gold Dots.
On a side note... I don't use the Remington Golden Saber at all now. I had two instances (two different lots of ammo) of bad primers. It didn't matter how many times you pulled the trigger... those primers were not going to ignite.
Remington wanted those rounds sent back to them (which I did), but I never heard back.

A buddy gave me a box he had for a gun he sold and my S&W 1911 groups very well with them.
I shot a doe at about 30 feet with it while cutting firewood and it expanded great and maintained it's weight and bulged out the far side of the rib cage but did not exit.

I like the shape of the ranger T bullets the most when expanded, but I've read a lot of information about the ranger T's in .45 specifically not expanding reliably through different types of clothing layers.
I have been really impressed with the federal HST +p 230 grains...they expand to nearly 1" diameter and show consistently more then 12" penetration in all the gel tests i've seen online. It's also hard to go wrong with speer gold dot, they've been around awhile and have earned a good reputation for reliable expansion and penetration.
My vote is for Federal Expanding Full Metal Jacket. No hollow point to clog up...hits and pancakes on impact. Nasty little buggers...but effective. Only issue is that the are expensive: $30 for 20 rounds. Out here I can get a box of 50 Hydra-Shocks in .45ACP for that price.
Voted for Rem GS, but will probably switch to Hydrashoks when the current stash runs out. It's a pain in the butt to segregate the overlong ones for the N-frame. Remington's gotten better about that recently, though.

You need to specify bullet weight and pressure in your poll. There's a big difference between Golden Saber 230 gr., 185 gr., and 185 gr. +P, for example.
