Not likely. As long as people are buying they probably won't reduce prices, they'll just hold steady longer. You may see a reduction in price on bullets because that market is more competitive, because people that reload normally buy in more quantity and shop around a lot. That is a market where competitive pricing is a little more prevalent. IMHO

My $.02: Down the road, yes. Immediately, no. Dealers will have to sell current inventory at prices to make their profit. But longer term the reduced cost of raw materials will lead to lower ammo prices. Eventually the lessened activity of .mil in Iraq will have an effect also. 209 Amateurs practice until they get it right. Professionals practice until they can't get it wrong. |
