Sounds like an ok price to me, IIRC I got 50 round boxes for $28. I have a 50 round box of both low penetration and regular GoldDots. I can not tell the difference in recoil between the two. I just wish my source for LE boxes was closer, but it is in Georgia. They are fair on shipping though, helps being in state I guess. I really think the lower penetration version is more due to bullet design than the 25-50 FPS of velocity. I guess the other reason I like GoldDots is that Speer Lawman is loaded to the same specs, just with a cheaper bullet to keep the costs down. If you are shooting 40 in 180 grains the BlaserBrass seems to be loaded the same as both GoldDot and Lawman, making it a cheap and widely available practice round. But being a "fast and light" guy I shoot 155 in 40 so no joy.

I was in a local pawn shop last month and found that there were 12 50rd boxes of Winchester Ranger 125gr "T" ammo. They had it marked $29.00 per box but I asked what they wanted for ALL of it. I got them for $20.00 each and was a happy camper.
