Really not any difference between .22 LR ammo. I did chrono some Federal 36gr LHP's, 36gr copper clad HP's and some Remington 40gr "Golden" out of my Browning Buckmark w/ 7" barrel.
The .36gr bullets ran an average of 1,091 fps and 1,087 fps for the lead and copper plated respectively. The heavier 40gr Remington averaged 1,015 fps. If you want fast you need to go to the light weight Hyper Velocity like CCI Stingers, Remington Vipers, etc.
Look at the published data by the various manufacturers to find out expected velocities though they'll usually be from rifle length barrels.
Remington Golden Bullets are about the hottest bulk ammo out there in my opinion. Besides more expensive CCI mini mags it is the only ammo hot enough to cycle my Mosquito with the heavy recoil spring installed.
~~~GO COLTS~~~
